Pineapple-Mango Ghost Pepper Hot Sauce - Recipe

This Pineapple-Mango Ghost Pepper Hot Sauce mixes fiery ghost peppers with sweet tropical fruits and aromatic spices. Cooking the peppers and fruit softens them, balanced by white vinegar and a touch of sugar for acidity and sweetness. Cilantro adds herbal brightness and paprika deepens color and flavor. The sauce is blended smooth into a vibrant, spicy condiment suitable for those who enjoy a hot sauce with a fruity, complex edge.

Description

This hot sauce recipe combines ghost peppers, known for their intense heat, with chopped pineapple and mango to create a spicy yet sweet base. The ingredients are sautéed in olive oil to soften and release flavors before simmering with white vinegar, sugar, cilantro, and paprika. Simmering melds the fiery and fruity components while vinegar balances heat with acidity. After cooling, the mixture is processed to a smooth sauce that can be bottled and stored.

The result is a vibrant sauce that balances the ghost pepper’s heat with the sweetness of tropical fruit and nuanced herbal notes from cilantro. Paprika adds subtle smokiness and enhances color. This sauce works well as a spicy topper on grilled meats, tacos, or as a condiment to enliven dishes.

Due to the high heat from ghost peppers, this sauce is best used sparingly. The fruit helps moderate the intensity without diminishing the characteristic fiery kick.
