Pineapple Matcha Drink Starbucks Copycat
Description
The recipe begins with making a pineapple ginger syrup by cooking freshly grated ginger with pineapple juice, sugar, and water, then straining it to capture the aromatic flavors. Matcha powder is dissolved in pineapple juice to ensure smooth blending. The drink is assembled by mixing the matcha mixture with the pineapple ginger syrup, coconut milk, and ice cubes, stirred well to combine.
This results in a cool, creamy beverage where the bright acidity and sweetness of pineapple play against the rich matcha flavor, lifted by the zesty ginger notes. Coconut milk adds a smooth texture and tropical undertone.
The syrup can be made in bulk and refrigerated for convenient use when ready to prepare the drink. This beverage mimics a well-known Starbucks recipe, offering an in-home alternative to the refreshing summer drink without relying on pre-made syrups.
