Pink Lemonade Margarita (Pink Senorita Cocktail)

The Pink Lemonade Margarita, also known as the Pink Senorita, blends raspberry lemonade, blanco tequila, fresh lemon juice, and orange liqueur over crushed ice, garnished with lemon slices, raspberries, and optional fresh mint. This cocktail offers a refreshing balance of sweet, tart, and citrus flavors, with a berry twist and smooth tequila presence.

Description

This Pink Lemonade Margarita combines raspberry-flavored lemonade with blanco tequila, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and orange liqueur like Cointreau, Triple Sec, or Grand Marnier. The ingredients are mixed over crushed ice to dilute and chill the drink, resulting in a fruity, tangy cocktail with a subtle citrus depth enhanced by the orange liqueur.

The presentation includes lemon slice garnishes, fresh raspberries, and optionally a sprig of fresh mint, which adds a herbal freshness and visual appeal. The cocktail suits warm weather or casual gatherings where a bright, berry-citrus drink is desirable.

Variations include topping the drink with chilled club soda for a lightly sparkling and lower alcohol version or adding Prosecco or Champagne for effervescence and elegance. To serve multiple guests, a larger batch can be prepared in a pitcher and refrigerated until needed.

Ingredients

Servings
  • 4 ounces lemonade I use Simply Lemonade with Raspberry, a not-from-concentrate variety found in the refrigerated section, raspberry flavored
  • 1.5 ounces blanco tequila
  • 1 ounce lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • ½ ounce orange liqueur but Triple Sec or Grand Marnier are good substitutions, prefer Cointreau
  • lemon slices; for garnish
  • raspberries
  • fresh mint

Instructions

  1. To a glass, add raspberry lemonade, tequila, lemon juice, and orange liqueur. Add crushed ice to nearly fill the glass. Stir the drink for a few seconds to incorporate, dilute, and chill the drink.
  2. Garnish with lemon slices and raspberries. Add a sprig of fresh mint if you like!

Notes

  • For a bubbly twist, top the drink with chilled club soda to reduce alcohol concentration while adding fizziness.
  • Alternatively, add chilled Prosecco or Champagne for sparkling elegance.
  • To serve a crowd, prepare a large batch in a pitcher: 32 ounces raspberry lemonade, 12 ounces tequila, 8 ounces lemon juice, and 4 ounces orange liqueur; refrigerate until serving.
  • Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices, fresh raspberries, and mint sprigs as desired.
