Pink Witch Punch Recipe
Description
Pink Witch Punch Recipe blends a base of pink juice—commonly cranberry-strawberry or similar flavors—with lemon-lime soda to achieve a light fizzy sweetness. Raspberry sorbet or sherbet is scooped on top, dissolving into a frothy layer that contributes creaminess and coolness to the beverage. The punch is visually enhanced by decorating the glass rims with black sparkle gel, sprinkles, edible glitter, and using pink rock candy as stirrers.
This punch is designed to be served cold in 8-ounce glasses, yielding about 16-20 servings. The flavor profile is bright and sweet with a fruity base and fizzy soda providing balance, ideal for parties or themed events.
The recipe is flexible in terms of juice choice, allowing substitution with other pink colored juices or lemonade. Presentation options include decorating individual glasses or the punch bowl itself with decorative gel drips. The drink can be prepared in large quantities to serve groups, making it practical for gatherings.
Ingredients
- 64 oz pink juice cranberry strawberry is our favorite
- 2 liter lemon-lime soda such as sprite or 7up
- 1/2 gallon raspberry sorbet or sherbet
To serve
- Sprinkles star shaped
- edible glitter
- decorating gel black sparkle
- rock candy to use as a stirrer, pink
Instructions
- Pour pink juice into serving glass (we usually use an 8 oz glass) until it's about 1/3 of the way full. There's no need to be super precise.
- Pour lemon lime soda in the glass until it's about 2/3 of the way full. Again, no need to be very precise.
- Use a small scoop, or melon baller, to carefully add scoops of sorbet or sherbet on top of the drink. Let sit a minute or so, until the sorbet has melted into a froth.
- Use the black decorating gel to line the rim of the glass, adding drips here and there, then top the froth with some sprinkles and edible glitter, if desired.
Notes
- Recipe yields approximately 16-20 servings in 8-ounce glasses or 32-40 smaller 4-ounce servings.
- Any pink juice can be used; popular options include cranberry-strawberry blends or pink lemonade.
- Decorating gel can be applied to the punch bowl or individual cups depending on presentation preference.
