Report
The best ever Pizookie recipe takes homemade chocolate chip cookie dough and bakes it in a cast iron skillet. With crisped edges and a soft center, this is one swoon worthy dessert. Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream for the perfect finish.

Ingredients
- ½ cup unsalted butter softened to room temperature
- ¾ cup light brown sugar packed
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 F. Spray either a pie plate or 8” cast iron skillet.
- In a large bowl and mixer, mix together the butter and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add the egg, vanilla, flour, baking soda, and salt and mix again until everything is mixed together.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Press the batter in the pie plate or cast iron skillet until it is evenly distributed.
- Bake in oven for 25-30 minutes.
- Enjoy warm with some ice cream!
Notes
- Not in the mood for chocolate chips? Change it up with different mix ins. There are all tasty additions (or substitutions) to this pizza cookie:
- You could also use a 9-inch springform pan like we do with our Easter Cookie Cake. However, it's harder to eat warm while in that pan.
