Ingredients

Servings
  • 8 ounces (250 grams) cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 clove garlic grated
  • 3/4 teaspoon oregano dried
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese grated
  • 1 1/4 cups pizza sauce
  • 6 ounces (175 grams) mozzarella cheese broken into small pieces
  • 8 pepperoni chopped into small pieces, sliced
  • 1 baguette for serving

Instructions

  1. Soften the cream cheese at room temperature. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). In a large bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, garlic, dried oregano, paprika, and salt using a spatula. Fold in half of the grated Parmesan cheese.
  2. Transfer the mixture to a 1-quart rectangular baking dish and smooth it out with a spatula. Top with pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, and pepperoni slices. Sprinkle the remaining grated Parmesan cheese on top. Bake for 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbling and melted. Broil for an additional 1 to 2 minutes to achieve a nice caramelization on top. Remove from the oven and serve with baguette.

Notes

  • Recipe Source: Good Housekeeping
  • Use an appropriate baking dish for your dip. A shallow oven-safe dish works best which allows the ingredients to cook evenly.
  • Keep a close eye on your dip as it bakes. Baking times can vary depending on your oven, so check it a few minutes before the recommended time to avoid overcooking or burning.
  • Broil for the perfect finish. Broil the pizza dip for a minute or two at the end, which results in a golden and slightly crispy top. Be cautious while broiling, as things can go from perfect to burnt quickly.
