Pizza dip

This pizza dip is the best appetizer to make all Summer long.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (240g) pizza sauce
  • 8 ounces (225g) cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup (113g) shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup (113g) shredded mozzarella
  • pepperoni slices to your taste
  • ½ teaspoon Optional italian seasoning

Instructions

Oven

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F / 180 degrees C / gas 4
  2. Hold back a little of the cheddar cheese and cream cheese. Mix together the cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, Italian seasoning if using.
  3. Transfer to a 9 inch pie dish or casserole and top with the remaining shredded cheese and pepperoni.
  4. Bake for 25 minutes or until bubbly and cheese is browned.
  5. Allow to cool for about 10 minutes before serving.

Air Fryer

  1. Hold back a little of the cheddar cheese and cream cheese. Mix together the cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, Italian seasoning if using.
  2. Transfer to 2 or 3 oven safe ramekins or a casserole dish and top with the remaining shredded cheese and pepperoni.
  3. Air Fry at 400 degrees F / 200 degrees C for 6-9 minutes or until cheese is nice and melted on top.
  4. Let cool for a few mins before serving.

Notes

  • Get that perfect melt - Use freshly shredded cheese instead of pre-shredded for the ultimate gooey cheese pull. Plus it melts better!
  • Customize the heat - If you love spice, add some red pepper flakes or spicy pepperoni to kick things up a notch.
  • Prep ahead - Assemble the dip beforehand and pop it in the oven or air fryer just before guests arrive. Don't you love easy-peasy recipes?
  • Store - Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
