Report
Pizza Egg Rolls are a fun twist on two clastic dishes! Crispy egg roll wrappers filled with cheese, pizza sauce and all your favorite pizza toppings. Instead of rolling out pizza dough, just grab a pack of egg roll wrappers and get the family involved in rolling up their own pizza egg rolls for dinner!

Ingredients
- 12 egg roll wrappers
- 2 tablespoon oil (for cooking)
- 12 lices mozzarella (or 6 mozzarella cheese strings cut in half)
- ½ cup Pizza Sauce
Pizza Toppings for Filling (Any Combination of your Favorite Toppings)
- ½ cup mushrooms (diced)
- ½ cup red pepper (diced)
- ½ cup onion (diced)
- ½ cup pepperoni (or salumi, diced)
Instructions
Assemble the Egg Rolls
- To assemble the egg rolls place one slice of cheese in the center of the egg roll wrappers and top with 1-2 teaspoons of each of your favorite pizza toppings. Top with 1 tablespoon of pizza sauce.
- Dip your finger in water and wet the edges of the egg roll wrapper.
- Fold in two opposite corners to the center and then tightly roll.
- Repeat with remaining egg roll wrappers.
Cook the Egg Rolls
- AIR FRYER COOKING METHODBrush both sides of the egg rolls with oil and Air Fry at 400°F for 5-10 minutes or until golden brown.
- STOVE TOP COOKING METHODHeat a deep pot with oil on medium heat. Fry the egg rolls in small batches for 5 minutes or until golden brown.
- OVEN BAKING METHODBrush the egg rolls with oil on both sides. Place directly on a sheet pan lined with tin foil OR on a sheet pan with a baking rack. Bake at 400°F for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown. Flip halfway through cooking and brush with more oil as needed.
- Allow the egg rolls to cool for 2-3 minutes before serving, the filling will be very hot. Serve with pizza sauce to dip and enjoy!
Notes
- AIR FRYER REHEATING METHOD
- Air Fry the cooked egg rolls at 400°F for 2-3 minutes, flipping halfway through. The egg roll wrapper will get crispy on the outside.
- OVEN REHEATING METHOD
- Place cooked egg rolls directly on a sheet pan lined with tin foil OR on a sheet pan with a rack. Bake at 400°F for 5 minutes. Flip halfway through reheating. The egg roll wrapper will get crispy on the outside.
- MICROWAVE REHEATING METHOD
- Microwave in 15 second intervals until warmed through (note: this reheating method will not make the egg roll wrapper crispy)
