Ingredients
- 20 ounces seasoned fries or waffle fries
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
- 1 cup Pizza Sauce
- 12-15 lices pepperoni
- 2 tablespoons parsley chopped
- red pepper flakes
- Parmesan Cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Spray a sheet pan with cooking spray.
- Spread the fries over the pan and bake for 20 minutes.
- Spread half the cheese over the fries, spread the pizza sauce over the cheese, then layer on the remaining cheese. Top with the pepperoni.
- Bake for 10 minutes.
- Remove and sprinkle with parsley and red pepper flakes.
- Serve with parmesan and ranch dressing.
Air Fryer Directions
- You will likely have to halve the recipe.
- Put the fries in the basket of your air fryer and cook at 400 degrees F for 12-15 minutes until crispy.
- Dump the fries onto a piece of foil, sized to fit in the air fryer basket. Put the foil with the fries in the basket.
- Spread half the cheese over the fries, followed by the pizza sauce, and then the rest of the cheese. Top with the pepperoni.
- Air fry at 400 degrees F for 5 minutes, until the cheese is melted.
- Carefully lift the foil out of the air fryer and serve.
Notes
- The secret to amazing pizza fries is starting with extra-crispy fries as your base. Bake your fries until they're golden brown before adding any toppings.
- I like using seasoned fries or waffle fries for this recipe. The ridges in waffle fries are perfect for holding all that cheesy goodness! If you're using plain fries, sprinkle them with some seasoning salt before baking.
- While pepperoni is classic, you can mix it up! Some of our family favorites include black olives, green peppers, diced onions, ham, salami, and extra cheese.
- Customize the toppings for picky eaters—pepperoni on one side, plain cheese on the other, or loaded supreme-style for adventurous eaters.
