Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon sanding sugar

- 3 ounces pomegranate juice
- 1½ ounces tequila blanco
- 1 ounce triple sec
- 1 ounce lime juice
- 1½ ounces grenadine

Instructions
- Place the sanding sugar and salt on a small plate and stir to combine them.
- Dip the rim of a glass in a bowl of water. Place the wet rim in the salt and sugar mixture. Set the glass aside.
- Place a few cubes of ice in a cocktail shaker.
- Pour the pomegranate juice, tequila and triple sec into the shaker.
- Next, add the lime juice and grenadine to the shaker.
- Cover the cocktail shaker and shake to combine the ingredients.
- Place a few ice cubes in your glass.
- Strain the contents of the cocktail shaker into the glass. Garnish with pomegranate seeds, lime and mint, then serve.
Notes
- This recipe yields a single serving but can be scaled up proportionally for more guests.
- For best flavor, use chilled 100% pomegranate juice.
- If you don't have a cocktail shaker, stir the ingredients together thoroughly or use a mason jar with a secure lid to shake.
