Pot Roast in Bag Recipe

Easy, just oh so easy and delicious! This pot roast in bag recipe was gone so fast that I didn't even get a picture of it before the family scarfed it down. No joke!

Ingredients
- 3 lb chuck roast
- 1 packet bake in bag pot roast by McCormic
- ⅓ Cup water
- 4 Cups vegetables optional

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325
- Mix the packet of seasoning with ⅓ cup of water until well blended.
- Place the bag in a baking dish. Place the roast into the baking bag. Put vegetables on top if using vegetables.
- Pour the seasoning mix over the roast
- Seal the bag loosely with the enclosed tie. Cut 4 small holes into the top of the bag with the knife.
- Bake for 2 hours. Remove from the oven and allow to rest for 5 minutes. Cut the bag open and serve or remove the plastic bag and use 9x13 dish as a serving dish.
Notes
- If you are going to use veggies, don't use more than 4 cups.
- Place the veggies on top of the roast and put the seasoning on the veggies and the roast.
- It's ok if you don't have exactly 2-3 lbs of roast beef. Just don't pile the meat on top of each other if it's more than noted. If it is smaller, check it before the 2 hours and if falling apart then it's done.
