Prosciutto Arugula Flatbread Pizza
Description
The Prosciutto Arugula Flatbread Pizza starts with a flatbread layered with olive oil infused with minced garlic, which forms a fragrant and flavorful base. Caramelized onions add sweetness and depth, balanced by the smoky saltiness of prosciutto and the richness of melted gouda (or gruyere) cheese. Baking until bubbly and lightly browned ensures a crispy texture.
Once baked, it is topped with fresh baby arugula, which brings a peppery and fresh contrast, along with shaved Parmesan cheese that adds a nutty sharpness. Slicing into wedges makes it easy to serve and share.
This flatbread pizza serves as a delicious appetizer, lunch, or light dinner option. The combination of flavors and textures provides a layered eating experience without requiring heavy preparation.
