Protein Chia Pudding
Description
This recipe mixes chia seeds with protein powder, maple syrup, and milk of choice to form a base that thickens as it chills. The chia seeds absorb liquid and form a gel-like consistency, resulting in a pudding texture after refrigeration. Protein powder enhances the nutritional profile, making it a filling option.
The sweetness is controlled by maple syrup, which also adds a natural flavor. Once set, the pudding can be served with toppings such as yogurt, fruit, nuts, or seeds for added texture and taste.
The method is straightforward: combine ingredients, stir well, chill in the refrigerator for at least two hours or overnight to fully set, and stir again before serving to ensure even texture. The recipe allows for flexibility in the choice of milk and toppings.
