Protein Packed Baked Hummus Dip

Filled with creamy hummus, shredded leftover chicken or turkey, and plenty of cheese, this warm pro dip is a total crowd-pleaser and the ultimate party dip!

Ingredients
- 2 cups chicken or leftover shredded turkey, shredded rotisserie
- 3 cups hummus (homemade or storebought)
- 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese 2% fat, shredded
- cilantro optional toppings, cilantro minced; avocado cubed; tomatoes diced; cotija cheese crumbled
- red onion
- avocado
- tomato
- cotija cheese
- pepper to serve, Wild Wonders brand peppers
- tortilla chips to serve, Wild Wonders brand peppers
Optional Toppings
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
- Place shredded chicken or turkey in the bottom of an 8" x 11" baking dish and add in the hummus. Stir to combine then spread mixture in even layer. Sprinkle dish evenly with shredded cheese and bake until cheese melts and hummus is warmed through, about 15-18 minutes.
- Garnish with scallions, cilantro and other optional toppings before serving with Wild Wonders peppers and tortilla chips.
Notes
- Dish can be prepped ahead of time and baked right before guests arrive. If you want to keep it vegetarian I love using black beans instead of chicken/turkey!
