Description
This smoothie bowl blends together frozen mixed berries, vanilla protein powder, peanut butter, and milk to create a thick, spoonable mixture similar to a smoothie but denser. Using frozen blueberries and strawberries provides a cold, refreshing texture and naturally sweet flavor reminiscent of a classic peanut butter and jelly pairing without added sugars. A drizzle of warmed peanut butter further intensifies the nutty character. The method is simple: blend all ingredients until smooth, pour into a bowl, and optionally top with the peanut butter drizzle and other preferred toppings.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup almond (oat or milk of your choice)
- 2/3 cup blueberries put your blueberries in the freezer!, frozen
- 2/3 cup strawberries frozen, sliced
- 1 vanilla protein powder scoop
- 1 tbsp peanut butter
- peanut butter blueberries, chia seeds, melted, for drizzling, 1 tablespoon, optional
Instructions
- Place your milk into the blender.
- Add frozen fruit, protein powder and 1 tablespoon peanut butter. Seal and blend until smooth.
- Pour out into a bowl.
- If using, melt the remaining peanut butter in the microwave 30 to 45 seconds and drizzle over the bowl.
- Add desired toppings. Eat right away with a spoon!
