- 2 overly ripe black plantains peeled and sliced into 1-inch pieces
- 4 tablespoons butter

Instructions
- In a non-stick skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.
- Add the plantains to the pan in a single layer. Depending on the size of your skillet, you may have to make multiple batches.
- Cook the plantains for about 2-3 minutes per side until they’re lightly brown and caramelized.
- Transfer to a plate lined with paper towels to drain, and then enjoy!
