Pulled Pork Nachos
Description
Pulled Pork Nachos combine classic Tex-Mex elements into a cohesive baked snack or appetizer. The layered tortilla chips support portions of shredded pork and shredded cheddar cheese, which melt together in the oven to create a flavorful, hearty base. A homemade white sauce made from mayonnaise, sour cream, minced red onion, and garlic adds creaminess and tang. The barbecue sauce drizzle contributes a smoky-sweet contrast that complements the pork, while chopped jalapenos provide a hint of heat. The baking process melts the cheese thoroughly and crisps edges of the chips, adding texture variety.
This dish works well for casual gatherings or as a shared starter. It can be served directly from the oven to maintain cheese melt and chip crunch. The combination of creamy, sharp, smoky, and spicy flavors provides balance and depth.
