Pulled Pork Tacos

Report
Pulled Pork Tacos are assembled with corn tortillas layered with tangy coleslaw, tender pulled pork, pickled red onions, crumbled feta cheese, fresh cilantro, and a squeeze of lime juice. The interplay of smoky pork and bright, acidic toppings creates a balanced, texturally interesting taco. This preparation emphasizes fresh components and pickled elements to complement the rich meat within a warm tortilla.

Description

This recipe calls for assembling tacos by first dividing coleslaw onto warmed corn tortillas, then topping with tender pulled pork and pickled red onions. Crumbled feta adds a creamy, salty element, while fresh cilantro and lime juice brighten the flavors with herbal and citrus notes. The tortillas can be warmed in a dry pan or the oven before filling to enhance their pliability and taste.

The combination of smoky meat and acidic, crunchy toppings prevents sogginess while providing contrasted textures and flavors. Adding diced avocado is suggested as an optional creamy addition. The tacos are best served immediately to enjoy the freshness of the ingredients and the texture of the warmed tortilla.

Make sure pickled onions are prepared ahead to streamline assembly. Avoid applying heavy sauce to prevent sogginess.
