Pumpkin Brownies

Pumpkin Brownies are the perfect Fall treat! You can't have a great season without these tasty fall brownies. Pumpkin Brownies are sweet, soft, and will just melt in your mouth!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup salted butter softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ginger
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Spray a 9X13 inch pan with non-stick spray.
  3. In a large bowl, beat together the softened butter and brown sugar. Then mix in the eggs, pumpkin puree, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and salt. Then add these dry ingredients to the wet ingredients (butter, sugar, etc).  Mix this well.
  5. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  6. Pour this mixture into the baking pan. The batter is VERY thick so use a spatula to even it out in the pan and make sure it’s level before baking.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes.
  8. Test for doneness with a toothpick.
