Pumpkin Chex Mix

Pumpkin Chex Mix is a spiced snack mix featuring cinnamon, brown sugar, pumpkin pie spice, butter, vanilla, Chex cereals (cinnamon, wheat, honey nut), and pecans. It can be cooked in the microwave or oven to caramelize the coating, delivering a crunchy, sweet, and warmly spiced treat.

Description

This Pumpkin Chex Mix combines three varieties of Chex cereal and pecans coated in a mixture of melted butter, brown sugar, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla. The sugar and spice mix imparts fall-inspired warmth and sweetness. After combining, the mix is cooked by microwaving in intervals with stirring to avoid burning, or baked in an oven at 250°F with periodic stirring until the coating caramelizes and becomes crisp.

The result is a crunchy snack with a nuanced pumpkin spice flavor that makes it well suited for casual snacking or sharing during autumn gatherings and holidays.
