Pumpkin Cream Cheese Dip

The Pumpkin Cream Cheese Dip blends softened cream cheese, confectioners' sugar, pureed pumpkin, and warm spices like cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg, resulting in a smooth, spiced dip ideal for fall. Vanilla extract adds a subtle sweetness, making it suitable for pairing with sweet or savory dippers.

Description

This dip starts by whisking softened cream cheese with powdered sugar until creamy, then gradually incorporating pumpkin puree. A mixture of ground cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, allspice, and cloves is stirred in along with pure vanilla extract to evenly distribute warm, aromatic flavors throughout the dip.

The final texture is velvety and easily spreadable, balancing sweet and spiced notes without overpowering the palate. It works well with apple slices, pretzels, graham crackers, or gingersnaps, complementing a range of textures and flavors.

The dip can be prepared a few days ahead and refrigerated to allow flavors to meld. Softening the cream cheese fully before mixing prevents lumps and ensures a consistent texture. This versatility makes the dip convenient for seasonal gatherings or casual snacking.

  • ¾ tsp ground ginger
  • ½ tsp ground nutmeg
