Pumpkin Spice Latte
Description
This recipe for Pumpkin Spice Latte involves gently heating milk, pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice, vanilla extract, and sugar until steaming hot without boiling. The mixture is whisked to achieve smooth incorporation of flavors. Freshly brewed strong coffee is poured into serving cups and topped with the pumpkin-spiced milk blend. Whipped cream is piped on top and finished with a light dusting of pumpkin pie spice or a cinnamon-nutmeg mix to enhance the aroma and taste.
The drink balances the natural sweetness of the pumpkin and sugar with warm spice notes and creamy texture from heated milk. The steaming temperature brings out flavors without curdling the milk, making it comforting and appealing during cooler seasons.
This latte can be served immediately for best flavor and texture. It can be customized with different types of milk, such as almond or soy, though results may vary slightly in taste compared to dairy milk. Sweetener amount can be adjusted based on personal preference, and pumpkin puree quantity can be increased for a stronger pumpkin presence.
