Pumpkin Spice Latte Syrup

Pumpkin Spice Latte Syrup is a homemade flavorful syrup combining coconut milk, coconut sugar, and pumpkin pie spice. By simmering these ingredients until thickened, the syrup develops a rich, spiced sweetness perfect for stirring into coffees or fall beverages. The addition of salt balances the flavors, enhancing the pumpkin spice characteristics. This syrup provides a convenient way to add seasonal flavor without pre-made syrups or concentrates.

Description

This syrup blends coconut milk with coconut sugar and pumpkin pie spice, heated gently to dissolve flavors and then simmered to reduce into a thick, pourable consistency. The use of coconut milk adds a subtle creaminess and richness, while the coconut sugar offers a mellow sweetness. Pumpkin pie spice introduces warm notes of cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger, evoking autumnal flavors typical of pumpkin spice lattes.

The cooking process involves whisking frequently and simmering for about 15 minutes, concentrating the mixture and thickening it into syrup. A pinch of salt is stirred in at the end to round out the taste and bring balance.

Once cooled, the syrup can be stored in an airtight container and used to flavor coffee, tea, or desserts. Its smooth texture and seasonal spice make it a versatile addition to fall drinks.
