Quick and Easy Crab Balls

Quick and Easy Crab Balls mix lump crab meat with crushed stuffing, egg, mayonnaise, parsley, Old Bay seasoning, and lemon juice, shaped into small balls then broiled until golden brown. The result is a seafood appetizer with a crisp exterior and tender, flavorful interior, balanced by the seasoned stuffing and citrus.

Description

The recipe combines 16 ounces of lump crab meat with crushed Stove Top Stuffing, egg, mayonnaise, chopped parsley, Old Bay seasoning, and lemon juice. The mixture is gently combined to preserve the crab lumps and formed into golf-ball-sized spheres. Placed on parchment paper, the balls are broiled close to the heating element for 7-10 minutes until golden, forming a crispy outer crust.

Old Bay seasoning imparts a classic seafood spice blend, while lemon juice adds brightness. The stuffing mixture helps bind while adding herby notes and some texture contrast. The broiling step cooks quickly, ensuring the crab remains moist and the exterior crisp.

These crab balls serve well as an appetizer or party snack, easy to prepare and cook without deep frying. Watching closely while broiling prevents burning and ensures the desired golden finish.
