Quick and Easy Instant Pot Potatoes Recipe {ready in 10 minutes}

Report
This Instant Pot recipe cooks quartered red potatoes fast with butter, garlic, chicken broth, salt, and pepper, resulting in tender potatoes coated in a buttery garlic sauce. The hands-off pressure cooking keeps the skin intact while softening potatoes quickly.

Description

The Quick and Easy Instant Pot Potatoes recipe features quartered red potatoes cooked with garlic and butter in chicken broth inside a pressure cooker. The intense heat and steam under pressure soften the potatoes in about four minutes, preserving the skin which adds texture. Butter and minced garlic coat the potatoes, providing richness and savory flavor. Salt and black pepper season to taste.

This preparation yields tender potatoes that retain their shape, useful as a quick side dish. Because the potatoes cook with the skin on, peeling is optional depending on preference; the skin softens during cooking and can be removed easily afterward if desired.

The method is straightforward, simply layering ingredients, sealing the lid, pressure cooking, and then stirring to coat with the buttery sauce before serving. This quick approach is convenient for an everyday meal side.
