Quick Iced Chai Tea Latte

This Quick Iced Chai Tea Latte combines steeped chai tea with milk and ice for a refreshing spiced drink. Sweetened with sugar and optionally topped with whipped cream, it balances warm chai flavors with cold refreshment, suitable for a quick homemade treat.

Description

The preparation begins by boiling a small amount of water, then steeping chai tea bags for 5 minutes to extract the spices and flavors. Sugar is stirred in until dissolved while the tea is still warm, then the mixture is diluted with additional water to the desired strength. Separately, ice fills a 16-ounce cup followed by milk poured over the ice.

The sweetened chai is poured over the milk and ice, and the drink is stirred to combine. The icy temperature contrasts with the warm spice notes, creating a smooth, aromatic latte. Optional whipped cream adds richness and a creamy texture on top.

This latte is best served immediately to enjoy the chilled temperature and balanced flavor. Adjust sweetness by starting with less sugar and increasing as preferred.
