Quick Stir Fry Recipe

This Quick Stir Fry Recipe features beef short ribs browned and cooked with fresh vegetables like carrots, broccoli, asparagus, and green onions, all combined with a savory sweet and sour sauce. The stir fry is cooked briskly in sesame oil, resulting in tender meat with crisp-tender vegetables coated in flavorful sauce, making it a flexible and satisfying meal.

Description

The recipe begins by cutting the beef short ribs into manageable pieces, salting them lightly, and browning in a well-oiled skillet to develop flavor. Following this, carrots are stir-fried until lightly browned, after which broccoli and asparagus are added and cooked until tender-crisp. Introducing Mr. Yoshida's Gourmet Sauce, a sweet and sour-style sauce, brings a balanced tangy-sweet flavor to the dish. Finally, the beef is returned to the pan to combine with the vegetables and sauce, allowing the flavors to meld.

This stir fry can be served over rice or noodles, or eaten as is. The combination of beef ribs, fresh vegetables, and a flavorful sauce creates contrast in texture with tender meat and crisp vegetables. Sesame oil imparts a nutty aroma typical of stir fry dishes.
