Quinoa Spinach Salad with Apples, Bacon & White Cheddar

Quinoa Spinach Salad combines fresh spinach, cooked quinoa, crisp apples, cooked bacon, white cheddar cheese, pepitas, and red onion. A dressing of olive oil, maple syrup, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, garlic, salt, and pepper adds a balance of sweet, tangy, and savory notes. The salad blends varied textures and flavors for a satisfying dish.

Description

This salad brings together tender spinach leaves and fluffy quinoa as a base. Chopped apples contribute sweetness and crunch, while cooked bacon adds smoky, salty depth. Cubed white cheddar cheese lends creaminess, and pepitas provide a nutty crunch. Diced red onion introduces a sharp, fresh bite.

The dressing made with olive oil, maple syrup, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, garlic, kosher salt, and black pepper creates a harmonious blend of sweet, tangy, and savory flavors that coat the salad thoroughly. Tossing the salad ensures even distribution of ingredients and dressing, resulting in a balanced flavor experience with each bite. It can serve as a main dish or a hearty side.
