Rainbow Fruit Salad with Honey Lime Dressing
Description
Rainbow Fruit Salad with Honey Lime Dressing is a vibrant combination of fresh fruits including pineapple, strawberries, blueberries, red grapes, clementines, and kiwi. The dressing, made from honey, lime zest, and fresh lime juice, adds a subtle sweetness balanced with citrus tang. Thoroughly drying the fruit before mixing minimizes the natural juice released, preserving the salad's texture. The salad is simply prepared by chopping the fruit, whisking the dressing, and tossing everything together to evenly coat. Served in a bowl, it’s visually appealing with a fresh and juicy texture, making it an excellent choice for brunches or potlucks.
Its blend of tropical and berries offers a mix of flavors and colors that make it inviting. The honey lime dressing highlights the fruit's natural taste without overpowering it. The salad should be consumed within a few days and kept refrigerated to maintain freshness.
For best results, dry fruit well after washing to limit liquid release. This salad stores well for 2-3 days in airtight containers, making it suitable for advance preparation.
