Ramen Noodle Salad Recipe
Description
The Ramen Noodle Salad blends broken ramen noodles with slivered almonds, sesame seeds, and finely chopped Napa cabbage to combine crisp textures and light nuttiness. Toasting the ramen noodles, almonds, and sesame seeds in the oven at 375°F enhances their flavors and crunch, providing a textural contrast to the tender cabbage.
The dressing, made by mixing ramen noodle seasoning packets, vegetable oil, sugar, and vinegar, offers a unique tangy and slightly sweet flavor with a savory depth thanks to the seasoning. This dressing coats the salad just before serving to preserve the crunch.
This salad serves well as a side dish complementing a variety of meals or on its own as a refreshing and crisp salad. It highlights the contrast between raw cabbage and toasted crunchy ingredients balanced by the flavorful dressing.
