Ranch House Crock Pot Pork Chops
Description
This slow cooker recipe places boneless pork chops in a greased crock pot, covered with cream of chicken soup and ranch dressing mix. Cooking on low for 4 hours or high for 3 hours results in tender pork chops infused with ranch seasoning flavors and a creamy sauce from the soup base.
The slow cooking method preserves moisture in the pork, preventing dryness, while the ranch seasoning adds a herbal and savory note complementing the mild pork flavor. The thick gravy produced during cooking is ideal for spooning over the chops or accompanying side dishes.
Serve these pork chops with mashed potatoes or vegetables, as suggested, to complete the meal. The simple preparation is convenient for day-long cooking with minimal hands-on time. Cooking times may vary by slow cooker, so verify pork internal temperature reaches 150°F before serving for safety.
Ingredients
- 4 to 6 pork chops 1/2 inch thick, boneless
- 2 cans (10 ounces, each) cream of chicken soup
- 1 packet (1 ounce) ranch seasoning mix for ranch dressing
- parsley optional, chopped, for sprinkling
Instructions
- Place pork chops in the bottom of a greased crock pot. Pour the soups over the chops and then sprinkle with ranch seasoning packet. Close the lid and cook on low heat for 4 hours OR on high heat for 3 hours.(**All slow cookers heat differently, so be sure the internal temperature of the pork chops is 150 degrees F. before eating.)
- Serve each pork chop with the gravy from the crock pot, a sprinkle of dried Parsley and some mashed potatoes!
