Ranch Salmon

Ranch Salmon features salmon filets coated with olive oil and dry ranch seasoning, baked until opaque and flaky. This simple method delivers a flavorful fish with the herb and spice notes of ranch seasoning enhancing the natural salmon taste. The finishing lemon wedges add bright acidity to balance the savory flavor, making it suitable for a straightforward, tasty main course.

Description

Ranch Salmon is prepared by coating salmon filets with olive oil and sprinkling dry ranch seasoning over them. Baking at 375°F (190°C) until the fish flakes easily offers a moist, tender texture while imparting the herbal and savory flavors characteristic of ranch seasoning. The olive oil helps keep the salmon moist and enhances mouthfeel.

The seasoning provides a blend of herbs and spices that complement the richness of salmon without overpowering it. Serving with lemon wedges adds a fresh, citrusy contrast that brightens the dish before eating. This salmon recipe can be served simply with vegetables or grains for a balanced meal.

Resting the salmon a few minutes after baking helps redistribute juices for better texture. Adjust seasoning with pepper and sea salt to taste after baking. This recipe’s straightforward baking method makes preparation accessible without complicated steps.
