Ras el Hanout (Moroccan Spice Blend)

This Moroccan blend of spices, ras el hanout, is robust in flavor, but not too spicy. It is wonderful to use with meat and veggies alike!Yield: roughly 2 Tbsp of spice mix

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp Turmeric
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp ground ginger
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp nutmeg
  • ½ tsp black pepper ground
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp coriander seeds ground
  • ½ tsp ground allspice
  • ¼ tsp cloves ground

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix the spices together, until evenly distributed. 
  2. Store the spice blend in an air tight, glass jar in the pantry until ready to use.
