Raspberry Vodka Lemonade
Description
Raspberry Vodka Lemonade uses fresh lemon juice combined with a simple syrup and raspberry purée to create a fruity base. The mixture is sweetened and balanced, then mixed with vodka and water to control strength. Straining the raspberry purée ensures a smooth drink without seeds or pulp. Optionally, apple juice adds a subtle sweetness and roundness to the flavor profile. The final mixture is served over plenty of ice with fresh lemon slices and raspberries as garnish, delivering both visual appeal and a crisp, refreshing taste.
The flavor is lively, balancing tart citrus with the natural sweetness of raspberry and the boldness of vodka. The simple syrup’s sweetness can be adjusted to individual preferences, while the water helps mellow the alcohol, making it drinkable as a casual cocktail or party punch. The recipe is versatile for substituting other berries or sparkling lemonade, giving variety to the basic formula.
Serve chilled in a large pitcher for easy sharing. It pairs well with light appetizers or as a cooling drink on warm days. Garnishing with fresh fruit adds a summery freshness. The drink is also suitable for batch preparation ahead of time if the simple syrup is made in advance and stored cold.
