Ravioli with Creamy Garlic Butter Sauce

Ravioli with ham and peas in a creamy garlic butter sauce makes a quick and easy dinner that the whole family will love! Simply toss together frozen ravioli, leftover ham, frozen peas, and the garlic cream sauce for one yummy dish!

Ingredients

Servings
  • 1 lb ravioli
  • 2 TBS salted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup Niman Ranch Applewood Smoked Ham, diced
  • 1 cup frozen peas thawed
  • Parmesan Cheese for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook your pasta according to package instructions. While pasta is cooking, make your cream sauce.
  2. Heat a large pan over medium heat.
  3. Melt butter in pan.
  4. Once melted, add garlic to pan and stir for 1 minute.
  5. Add chicken broth and deglaze the bottom of the pan for 1 minute.
  6. Add the cream and stir.
  7. Add the ham and peas and stir.
  8. Bring the sauce to a rolling simmer and simmer for 10 minutes, until the sauce has thickened.
  9. Strain the pasta and add to the sauce, stir to combine.
  10. Serve hot garnished with parmesan cheese.

Notes

  • If you don't have ravioli, substitute another stuffed pasta like tortellini instead. 
  • Chicken bone broth can be used in place of the chicken broth
