Red Apple Cider Sangria

Red Apple Cider Sangria is a chilled beverage blending pinot noir wine with apple cider, Grand Marnier, pure maple syrup, fresh apple slices, and cinnamon sticks. The mixture is refrigerated to blend flavors, then served over ice in glasses rimmed with cinnamon sugar. This sangria offers a balance of fruity apple notes, warmth from cinnamon, and a touch of citrus from the orange-rim garnish.

Description

This sangria recipe combines sliced apples and cinnamon sticks with chilled pinot noir, cold apple cider, Grand Marnier liqueur, and pure maple syrup in a pitcher. The ingredients are stirred together and refrigerated for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld. For serving, the glasses are rimmed using a mixture of brown sugar and cinnamon applied after rubbing with an orange wedge. The sangria is poured over ice, including some of the fruit, to provide refreshing, spiced mild sweetness with hints of citrus and maple.

The drink balances the richness of pinot noir with the seasonal apple and cinnamon aromatics, making it suitable as a festive or casual cocktail option. The maple syrup adds subtle depth and natural sweetness without overpowering the wine’s characteristics.
