Red Lobster Chesapeake Corn on the Cob
Description
Start by shucking the corn ears and removing all silks. The ears cook in boiling water for 5 to 7 minutes until tender but still crisp. Melted butter is drizzled over the hot corn immediately after cooking to coat each kernel. A generous sprinkling of Old Bay seasoning provides a blend of spices that balances and enhances the sweetness of fresh corn.
This method delivers corn on the cob that maintains its natural juicy snap and is flavorful without overpowering the vegetable's inherent qualities. The dish works well alongside seafood or grilled meats, adding a seasoned, buttery component to the meal.
Alternative seasoned salts can be used for variation, such as jalapeno salt, barbecue rub, or Cajun spice blends, allowing for customization to different flavor preferences.
