Description

Reuben Sliders stack shredded cooked corned beef, sauerkraut, and Thousand Island dressing inside split Hawaiian sweet rolls, then top with Swiss cheese. The assembled sliders are brushed with a flavorful topping made from melted butter combined with beef broth powder, minced garlic, grated Parmesan cheese, and dried thyme. Baking them at 375°F melts the cheese and crisps the rolls to a golden finish.

For the sandwiches:

  • 2 cups corned beef cooked, shredded
  • 1 ½ cups sauerkraut (drained)
  • 3 tablespoons Thousand Island dressing
  • 6 lices swiss cheese
  • 12 Hawaiian sweet rolls

For the topping:

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • ¼ teaspoon beef broth base (powder)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Parmesan Cheese (grated)
  • 1 teaspoon thyme dried

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Slice sweet rolls in the middle to create a top and bottom. Place the top to the side.
  3. Place the bottom part of the sweet rolls to an oven safe pan. Spread the thousand island dressing over the top of the bottom of the sweet rolls.
  4. Spread sauerkraut over the dressing, then top with a layer of corned beef.
  5. Place the swiss cheese evenly over the corned beef and then place the tops of the sweet rolls on top to close the sandwich.
  6. In a small pan over medium high heat, melt butter and add the remaining topping ingredients. Cook for a minute, or until butter becomes a little brown. 
  7. Brush the top of the sweet rolls with the butter mixture.
  8. Bake for 10 minutes or until the cheese has melted and the top is a beautiful golden hue.
  9. Serve.
