Ricotta and Prosciutto Cracker Appetizers

Ricotta and Prosciutto Cracker Appetizers combine creamy ricotta mixed with garlic, olive oil, parsley, and seasoning, spread thinly over savory roasted garlic and herb crackers. Topped with delicate, folded prosciutto pieces, these bites offer a balance of creamy, fresh, and salty flavors. Their easily assembled form makes them ideal for immediate serving as simple, elegant finger foods.

Description

This appetizer spreads a smooth ricotta cheese blended with minced garlic, olive oil, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper onto a roasted garlic and herb flavored cracker. The creamy ricotta mixture is lightly seasoned to complement the crisp crackers without overpowering them. Thinly sliced prosciutto is rolled into small cones and placed on top of each cracker, adding a salty, cured meat contrast.

The combination results in a bite-sized snack featuring crunchy textures from the cracker with a cooling, creamy topping and a savory finish from the prosciutto. The delicate balance of fresh herbs and garlic in the ricotta mixture enhances the prosciutto’s flavor, creating an appealing range of tastes and textures in each appetizer.

These are best served immediately after assembly to maintain cracker crunch and freshness of ingredients. They work well as simple starters or snacks suitable for casual or formal gatherings. Their no-cook, quick assembly format is convenient and accessible, offering straightforward ingredient handling and presentation.
