Roast Beef Sliders Recipe
Description
This recipe uses sweet Hawaiian rolls sliced in half, topped with a mixture of melted butter, whole grain mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder. The bottoms of the rolls receive half of this mixture before layering deli-style roast beef and slices of provolone cheese, followed by more roast beef and the top buns. The remaining butter mixture is spread on the tops.
Baked first covered to meld flavors and warm through, then uncovered to allow the tops to brown lightly, this method melts the cheese and infuses the bread with the seasoned butter mix, resulting in moist and flavorful sliders.
They can be served immediately as handheld sandwiches suitable for parties, casual meals, or game day snacks. Variations include swapping provolone for mozzarella or cheddar and adding peppers for an Italian-style version.
