Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Chipotle Crema

These Brussels sprouts are tossed with olive oil, salt, garlic, and black pepper, then roasted in an air fryer until crispy on the outside and tender inside. They are finished with a drizzle of fresh cilantro chimichurri-style sauce, adding a bright herbal note to the smoky, slightly spicy roasted vegetable.

Description

Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Chipotle Crema start with trimming and halving the sprouts, followed by seasoning with olive oil, kosher salt, granulated garlic, and ground black pepper. Roasting in an air fryer preheated to 375°F crisps the sprouts while preserving tenderness. Stirring or shaking halfway through ensures even cooking and browning.

The roasting process yields sprouts with crispy edges and a tender center, enhancing their natural slightly nutty flavor. A finishing drizzle of cilantro chimichurri adds freshness and herbal brightness, balancing the savory roasted notes.

This preparation is suitable as a side dish for a variety of meals. Serving immediately maximizes the contrast between crispiness and tenderness.
