Roasted Garlic and White Bean Hummus
Description
Roasted Garlic and White Bean Hummus uses canned great northern beans combined with garlic roasted to mellow its pungency, tahini for creaminess, olive oil, and fresh lemon juice for brightness. The process involves pureeing all ingredients until smooth, resulting in a thick, creamy dip characterized by subtle sweetness from the roasted garlic and a balanced lemon tang.
The hummus has a velvety texture perfect for spreading on pita bread or serving alongside crisp vegetables such as carrots and celery. The straightforward blending technique requires no cooking beyond garlic roasting, making it accessible for various kitchen skill levels.
This hummus stores well in an airtight container refrigerated for up to one week, allowing it to be prepared in advance and enjoyed over several days.
