Ingredients

Servings
  • 1 garlic bulb
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • Pinch salt
  • Pinch black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees for 5 minutes
  2. Slice the top third of garlic bulb off.
  3. Exposing the garlic cloves.
  4. Place onto a sheet of foil cut side up.
  5. Brush oil on exposed garlic cloves.
  6. Sprinkle with a pinch of salt and pepper and roll foil into a ball.
  7. Place into the air fryer and cook for 20 minutes.
  8. Remove garlic from the air fryer. Squeeze the garlic gently out of the bulb.
  9. I encourage you you try taking a freshly roasted garlic clove and smearing it on a piece of bread or a cracker. Heavenly to a garlic fan.
  10. Allow garlic to cool. Store as whole cloves or mash up or purée with a fork or food processor.
  11. I fill every hole in an ice cube tray, freeze, and store garlic cubes in a resealable bag until needed. I toss cubes inside tomato and cream sauces as often as possible and in so much more. Roasted garlic is wonderful.
  12. You can also add it to butter with some parsley.
  13. Stir to combine.
  14. Create the best garlic bread. Check out our recipe. I think you'll be glad you did. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Always preheat your air fryer for even cooking.
  • Don't cut too far down when trimming your garlic. You want all that tasty garlic to be preserved.
  • Try taking a freshly roasted garlic clove and smearing it on a piece of bread or a cracker. Absolute heaven to a garlic fan. Smooth as butter
