Roasted Plum Juice is a healthier and tastier version of plum panna in which plums are roasted and different spices are added to enhance the overall flavor and health benefits. Roasting helps in caramelizing the natural sugar of plum fruit and helps bring out all the hidden flavor of plums. Kids love it, and this is a great way to add healthy seasonal fruits to your children's diet.

Ingredients
Ingredients:
- 1.5 lbs plums 6 slight firm
- ½ cup mint leaves Fresh
- 2 tbs jaggery Adjust the quantity as per the sourness of the fruit
Spices/herbs
- ½ teaspoon salt As per the taste
- 1 teaspoon Black rock salt
- 2 teaspoon cumin seeds
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Mint powder Dry (Optional)
Instructions
- Roast the plums in the oven at 450 degrees until soft, around 20-25 minutes. You can also roast them in an air fryer.
- Once roasted, discard the plum pits and put the pulp with skin in a blender.
- Blend the pulp with fresh green mint.
- Then sieve the pulp to remove any unblended skin.
- Add crushed roasted cumin seeds powder, black salt, black pepper, sugar/jaggery as per the sweetness you like into the sieved pulp. Just roast the regular cumin seeds on low heat in a pan and crush it roughly in a mortar and pestle. You can also save the roasted cummin seeds for laer use in other recipes.
- Add water and ice to adjust the consistency.
- Chill before you serve. Enjoy!
