Rose Milk
Description
Rose Milk consists of mixing cold whole milk with rose syrup, typically adding 2-3 tablespoons of syrup per cup of milk. The beverage can be served over ice or plain and stirred until fully combined. Adjusting the amount of rose syrup tailors the floral sweetness to preference.
The sweetness and aroma come from the rose syrup, which is strong and should be added gradually for those new to the flavor. Coconut milk can be substituted to lend a creamy, slightly tropical note. This drink is refreshing and can accompany a range of meals or be served as a light, sweet refresher.
Ingredients
- 2 cups milk whole
- 2 tablespoons rose syrup
Instructions
- Pour one cup of cold milk per serving in a glass with or without ice.
- For each serving, add 2-3 tablespoons of rose syrup. Give it a stir until fully combined.
- Give the rose milk a taste and adjust the syrup as necessary. Enjoy!
Notes
- Use whole milk for a traditional creamy texture; coconut milk offers a pleasant alternative.
- Rose syrup flavor is strong; add it gradually to suit your taste.
- Store-bought rose syrup can be used if homemade syrup is unavailable.
