Rose Syrup
Description
Rose Syrup combines granulated sugar and water heated to a boil until the sugar dissolves, then infused with rose water for a gentle floral taste. Optional rose petals add subtle fragrance and aesthetic appeal. The preparation involves simple stovetop cooking and cooling before refrigeration.
This syrup imparts a sweet, rose-flavored essence to beverages and sweets, suitable for use in cocktails, lemonades, or drizzled over ice cream. The floral notes give a delicate and aromatic dimension that stands out without overwhelming.
Rose Syrup should be stored in a clean, sterile jar and refrigerated, where it can be kept for up to one week. Its shelf life is short due to the absence of preservatives, so using it within this time frame preserves its best flavor and freshness.
