Russian Dressing Recipe
Description
This Russian Dressing recipe combines a base of mayonnaise with chili sauce for sweetness and spice, balanced by red wine vinegar and sugar for tang and subtle sweetness. Garlic powder and paprika add depth and color, while Worcestershire sauce brings umami notes. Freshly ground black pepper adds mild heat. After blending these ingredients until smooth, chopped dill pickles are stirred in to provide texture and bursts of acidity.
The dressing is refrigerated for at least three hours to let flavors meld and deepen. Its creamy, slightly tangy, and mildly spicy profile suits it well for use on sandwiches, burgers, salads, or as a versatile dip. Preparing the dressing in advance enhances its flavor and convenience.
