Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter or 2 sticks, softened at room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon parsley finely chopped, fresh
  • 2 teaspoons thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper ground

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a medium mixing bowl.
  2. Using a fork, mix all ingredients until well blended. Use your hands to mix if needed.
  3. Add butter mixture to a flat sheet of plastic wrap. Using your hands, shape the mixture into a round, log shape, about the size of a silver dollar (no more than 2” round).
  4. Wrap the mixture tightly in plastic wrap, ensure the edges and pressed firm and smooth against the butter mixture.
  5. Place mixture inside the refrigerator to chill for 1 hour to firm.
  6. When ready to serve, slice the mixture into ½ inch pieces using a butter knife.

Notes

  • Store inside the refrigerator and use as needed.
  • Make sure the butter is at room temperature before mixing with the other ingredients for a more evenly blended result.
  • Chill for 1 hour before slicing into ½ inch pieces using a butter knife, making sure not to cut too thin or thick for even cooking results later on.
  • Wrap the butter log tightly in plastic wrap so that it holds its shape after chilling in refrigerator and slicing.
