This homemade sausage gravy is full of flavor and never fails! It has the perfect ratio of ingredients and takes less than 20 minutes.

Ingredients
- 1 pound breakfast sausage
- 1 teaspoon sage ground
- 1 teaspoon thyme ground
- 2 tablespoons flour
- ¼ teaspoon season salt
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup water
- ½ cup milk

Instructions
- Cook the sausage in a pan until almost cooked.
- Add the flour, salt, and pepper.
- Add the water and stir until combined.
- Add the milk and stir until combined.
- Simmer until thickened.
- Serve over biscuits, toast, grits, or whatever sounds good!
