Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450g) cabbage core removed and cut into pieces
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 4 oz (125g) Shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 heaping tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1/2 cup water
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Trim off the bottom part of the cabbage and remove the core. Cut the cabbage into chunky pieces.
  2. Add cooking oil to a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the garlic and sauté until it begins to sizzle. Next, add the shrimp and stir-fry with the garlic until the shrimp are cooked through. Then, add the cabbage to the skillet and stir to combine well with the shrimp and garlic.
  3. Add the oyster sauce and water to the skillet. Stir and cook until the cabbage wilts, softens, and is cooked through. Season with salt to taste. Dish out and serve immediately.
